Former chorister returns for concert with her brilliant new choir! Sat 23rd May 2015
13th April 2015

We’re looking forward to welcoming back Tilly Tilson, for many years a chorister in our girls’ choir, when her choir Albion visit All Saints’ later in May. They’re giving a special teatime concert – tickets are just £5, and £1 for under-17s, so it’s well worth coming to try.

Albion sing new versions of what they call “the music of these islands” – songs we’ve all heard of, including Scarborough Fair and Jerusalem, but in inventive new arrangements that they perform with 12 voices and piano.

Earlier this year they sang on BBC Radio 3, and the day after our concert they’re appearing at the English Music Festival in Oxfordshire. They’re based up in Sheffield and we’ve heard that they get great reviews and full houses up there, so why not come and hear this top-quality group of singers in their only Northampton performance of 2015!

And here’s a sneak preview of what we will hear…

Saturday 23 May at 6.00pm here at All Saints’ (duration 75 minutes)
Tickets £5 / ages 17 and under £1
Available from Albion’s website and 07751 760473
