Fr Oliver Coss SSC
Rector
Oliver Coss was inducted and installed as the Second Rector of Northampton on 7th September 2016. Born to a military family while on deployment in Germany, he spent much of his childhood in East Anglia and Gibraltar before settling in Lincolnshire. In 2000 he began as an undergraduate at the University of Hull reading Internet Computing, interning at Sun Microsystems in Manchester for a year. Sponsored for ordination in York Diocese, he was formed at the College of the Resurrection Mirfield where he read for a bachelor's degree and subsequent master's degree in Theology and Pastoral Studies. He served his title after ordination at St Mary the Virgin in Cottingham, on the outskirts of Hull, before becoming Vicar of Small Heath in the eastern inner-urbis of the Diocese of Birmingham.

Since appointment in Northampton, he has also served as Country Padre to Northamptonshire Royal British Legion, is a chaplain to the Army Cadet Force, and writes a bi-weekly column in the Northampton Chronicle & Echo. Fr Oliver was appointed Rural Dean of Greater Northampton in 2021 and is a trustee of Northampton Interfaith Forum, as well as other charitable causes.

Fr Oliver is married to Eleanor, and they have two daughters. Contact Fr Oliver
Fr Nicolas Boisson
Assistant Curate
Nicolas Boisson was ordained a Deacon and has served as Assistant Curate since July 18th, 2024. Born to a military family in France, Nicolas travelled with his family to different regiments before attending a Catholic high school, where he became a Christian. In 2012, he earned a BA in Theology at the University of Strasbourg while learning about archaeology. He graduated in 2016 before moving to different parts of the world, including Paris, Boston, Massachusetts, and London.

After being recommended for training in the Sacred Priesthood, he studied at the College of the Resurrection in Mirfield for a BA in Theology and Ministry. Coming from the Diocese of London, Nicolas moved to the Diocese of Peterborough, where we hope his pastoral skills and intellect will benefit all.

Nicolas is a happy Frenchman in love with England, where he finds a home. He also enjoys reading, walking, and Italian food. Contact Fr Nicolas
